The Executive Directors:

Pamela Duncan

Co-Founder and  Co-President

Pamela is a current member of St. Catharines Art Association and Haldimand Artworks.
Born and raised in Welland, her work is wide and varied in nature. Watercolours, oils, acrylics, pen and ink, pastels, and charcoal are all within the scope of her portfolio. Pamela’s paintings tend to the realistic rather than abstract but she has great admiration for all art forms.

Deedee Alexandre

Co- Founder and Co-President

Deedee is an arts advocate and a visual artist native of the Niagara Peninsula. She started painting representational and impressionist abstracts in April 2011. Deedee is a Co-Founder and Co-President of the Visual Artists of Welland (VAW), a member of the St. Catharines Art Association (SCAA), and the Niagara Pumphouse.

Patricia Haftar

Patricia, Visual Artist of Welland, makes art to satisfy an inner instinct, to communicate with her viewers in a way that supersedes what mere language can describe. The greatest influences on her art have been the Group of Seven, the Impressionists, Mondrian, and Picasso. Patricia’s work stands out because of how she applies colour, texture, movement and pattern. These four elements of design have become the signature of each of her paintings.

Fedora Romita

Fedora is an interdisciplinary artist. Her practice includes performance, interactive drawing projects, audio video, and installation. She received her BFA from the Ontario College of Art and Design in Sculpture Installation and also participated in the Future of Idea Art residency at The Banff Centre.

The Executive Officers:

Tracy Greening

Webmaster & Facebook Guru

Tracy, Visual Artist living in Welland, Ontario, began decorative painting in 2006 and has since expanded her artistic skills to include fine arts in acrylics, charcoals, pastels, watercolours and mixed media. Tracy has a Business Administration & Computer Support Specialist background. She is currently a member and Website Administrator for the Pelham Art Association (PAA); also a member and Trading Card Coordinator of DAIC (Discovering Arts in Canada).

Mary Burke

Mary is bringing her unique “Main Streets” to life, capturing a glimpse of the local history of the Niagara Region along with cities and town throughout Ontario. She delicately captures the fancy brickwork, arched windows, and brightly coloured buildings of the local architecture. Mary’s folk art style adds to the quaintness of these creations, and highlights her love for this bucolic area.
