It is my hope that viewers of my work will feel the same sense of emotions that I do when I paint. It is important to me that I feel a connection to my subject. My use of color and boldness of form create an appeal and in some works of art there is a softness which helps to calm the spirit. The most meaningful compliment to me is when my paintings have a place in someone’s home.
