Welcome to the Visual Artists of Welland website! We're glad you're here. Take some time to look around and meet the artists.

Whether you are an art enthusiast, emerging or established artist, there is a place for you with the VAW!

The Visual Artists of Welland GALLERY SHOP, at the Seaway Mall, has become a popular spot for community art lovers.

It is a bright and comfortable space where the artwork of VAW members is showcased in 2-month rotating exhibits. There are up to 15 different artists who have their art for sale. You can find art to suit any wall in any home, or as a gift for any special occasion. There is art for every personality and pocket-book.

It is open during Mall hours except on Sundays, when it is closed. However, starting in the spring of 2022, SENIORS' CREATIVE ART CLASSES will be held at the Gallery Shop twice a month on Sunday afternoons. Click the images to learn more about this exciting new community program! The next Class is on Sunday, April 24, 2022, from 1 - 4 pm. Go to the post at the bottom of this page for more information.

To find us, go through the Pizza Pizza Mall entrance and we're right beside Northern Reflections.

For more information about the Gallery, the Seniors' Creative Art Classes, and Gallery Hours, go to the About Page (visualartistsofwelland.com/about)

Why not drop into the Gallery Shop and make a day of shopping at the Seaway Mall?

Come join in the fun, and buy and support local.

Membership cost is $35.00—September to September. You can find the Membership Application and details on the Members Page.

General Membership Meetings have resumed at the Gallery Shop. The next one will be on Sunday, May 1 at 2 pm.

There are significant opportunities that the VAW is currently exploring for its membership, and for the community, in keeping with our Mission and Vision Statements (see Footer below).

We would like to thank everyone, but especially Board and VAW members, several area local businesses that contributed in any way (please see Sponsors), community members, Mayor Campion and his office, M.P. Vance Badawey, John Clark of MT Bellies, and Keith Cumming of Primeway Group - all who believed in us. It was a fabulous first year! We're excited about our second year and more things to come.

Thank you,

Deedee Alexandre and Pam Duncan
