I have lived in the Niagara region for the past 20 years, enjoying the sights and sounds the area has to offer. Nearing retirement age, I refocused on my youthful passion for the Arts. I enjoy painting pictures that show off nature and people, and their interaction. Often a picture doesn’t feel complete until the emotion of the scene is appreciated by a person actively taking it all in. As a self-taught artist, I participate in online courses to learn different techniques and to appreciate all styles of art. Flowers, landscapes and family gatherings speak to my heart. Acrylics allow bold emotional expression in my work. At this age of maturity, I see life for what it is and choose to present the best of it. It is a privilege to be  part of the growing VAW.
