David Rose
David Rose studied at the Ontario College of Art, and later received a diploma in fine arts at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, Ontario. He also has a Master’s degree in Canadian Art History from Concordia University, Montreal.
David primarily paints urban scenes, rural landscapes and waterscapes. His preferred technique is acrylics on canvas or Masonite board. As a low-vision artist with macular-degeneration, he often uses photographs as source material, and employs visual aids when creating his pictures.
David has exhibited work in solo and group exhibitions in Ontario and Quebec. He is a member of the St. Catharines Art Association and the Visual Artists of Welland. He lives in St. Catharines, Ontario.
