Johanna Hoogervorst
Johanna was born in Holland and immigrated to Canada in 1968, first living in Ontario till 1998 and then moved to Westbank BC. She has always been interested in the Arts and participated in several forms including drawing, doodling, scrapbooking, needlepoint, and quilting. The art of painting has always fascinated her and so several years ago she decided to five this a try and fell completely in love and wanted to learn more. That’s how she came to know Linda Lovisa, owner of the New Moon Gallery. Through her great teaching and patience, Johanna continues to grow and challenge herself by painting scenery, which is her passion, but also people and animals.
