Linda Helin

I love drawing, painting, photography, sculpting, mixed media, and conceptual work. I incorporate metal, hide, and natural items (birch bark, porcupine quills & hair, feathers, horse hair, rocks, etc.) into my art.

I completed four years of formal art studies at the University of Guelph, followed by one year at the Alberta College of Art. My work has been exhibited in art shows since 1970, with awards in drawing, painting, mixed media, sculpture, and photography.

In 2019 I joined the Visual Artist of Welland to participate in shows and our gallery.

In 2021 I joined the Society of Canadian Artists and exhibited in the virtual 53rd International Open Juried Exhibition, and the Re-Imagine Virtual Show in B.C.

My work is original. No prints or copies are made by me. My creative work is completed with both integrity and joy.
