Peg Spahn
By definition Peggy herself is a collage.
She is a combination of varied interests, skills, talents and experiences that have come together to create a new whole.
Peggy’s artistic compositions are the result of assembling a collection of various different materials (Photos, Paper, Fabric, Beads, etc). Her visions come to life through the use of imagination and colour combinations. Peggy also has a longstanding talent for up-cycling items found in thrift stores and reworking them into new treasures.
Art classes in July & August 2022 through the Visual Artists of Welland in print making and mixed media provided new techniques in the use of paint, paper and printed materials. In the new found inspiration of combining a blend of both techniques and materials, Peggy creates unique art pieces in various forms.
This led to the formalization of her business - Spahntaneous by Design
A recent interest inspired by her 2 hounds, Crockett and Sadie has led to the creation of the Hound Arts Collection which focuses on crystal healing for animals.
